THE GARDEN:
The steep garden at Gwalia Cottage has been imaginatively landscaped with trees and shrubs which in turn enhance the natural rock features. Slate steps lead you up to a small seating area where you can take in the wonderful mountain views!!
There is also a very useful outhouse where you can store your bikes safely, and a outside tap where you can wash down those muddy wheels ...or muddy dogs!!
PARKING:
There is on street parking but you can usually park just on the opposite side of the road. There is also plenty of parking along one of the side streets.. We tend to park ( after we have unloaded!) down by the side of the Touring Caravan park which is less than a 2 minute walk from the cottage. There is also a free small car park opposite the Caravan park too. Please do take care when crossing the road as it can get quite busy during peak times.
There are 5 steps leading up to the front door directly off the main road. However, the cottage is set back from the main road by a small enclosed garden.
